EWM Global serves companies across 4,000 cities in 70 countries globally – and there is one city in particular that has been instrumental in the EWM story: Zurich, where our journey began in 2001. Over the past 19 years, our original Zurich hub has seen us grow from a fintech startup to an established global leader of the digital transformation of some of world’s largest financial services companies. Now, it is with great excitement that we announce that EWM Global Zurich has moved!

While we officially cut the ribbon at the beginning of March, COVID-19 was starting to spiral out of control across the world. Our Leadership wasted no time in rapidly executing our business continuity plan and moved all our Associates in our global locations to safe and remote working environments. This ensured that our clients had one less thing to worry about as they navigated their own shelter-in-place plans – EWM Global’s systems and teams were operating at 100% with no disruption at all.

Since then, our Risk Management teams have been tracking the volatile swings of the coronavirus, and following the guidance of local authorities to determine the most prudent and safe plan for associates to return to the office.

After a phased re-opening strategy, we were thrilled to welcome our Zurich Associates back to their new office at the end of June!

You will now find us in the heart of the Swiss Financial District – a stone’s throw away from the famed Paradeplatz. One of the most exciting parts of this move is that we have been able to design our new office. We have enjoyed creating and designing an open plan workspace that will promote the same creative and innovative thinking that has underpinned EWM Global since the beginning, while promoting the recommended social distancing and cleaning guidelines to protect the health of our most valued assets.

Flexibility and agility have been cornerstones of our culture since outset and we were keen to replicate this in our work environment. The new, “dancing wall” partitions in the office are fully movable, boasting video and file sharing capabilities via wireless connection to multiple users in and out of the office itself. With a number of them designated as white boards or pinboards, the office outfit is designed to inspire creativity – both in new ideas and new ways to implement them.
