The Summit will be taking place on March 11th and is recognized as one of the most important events in the calendar for Financial Services Remuneration, Reward, and Compensation Specialists.
EWM Global’s Regional Director – EMEA, Simon Shipgood, will be speaking on a panel discussing trends in the regulation and administration of remuneration in the asset management industry. Matthew Hunter, from Tapestry Compliance, and Duncan Nicholls, from PwC, will be joining Simon on the panel. The discussion will cover IFD/IFR and IFPR changes, practical considerations, best practice for administering fund plans, carried interest, and co-investment.
This year’s Summit has been comprehensively revised and updated to take account of the latest regulatory developments including the impact of the Investment Funds Regulation and Investment Funds Directive (or their UK equivalent) on investment firms and the remuneration and reward proposals under the Fifth Capital Requirements Directive (CRDV) on banks. It will also, however, look at wider executive remuneration trends, including the influence of shareholder and stakeholder engagement, as well as pay gap issues in the context of ethnicity as well as gender.
